After moving to New Jersey, he discovered rallying in the U.S. and volunteered at STPR since 2002 and began competed at STPR and NEFR in 2015 with support from Billy Petrow of Broken Motorsports. This year, Aakash steps into the role of STPR’s Chief of Controls, bringing a wealth of experience to the position.

Roy Bucher
Roy BucherSpectator Safety
As a safety volunteer, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of competitors, volunteers, and especially spectators at designated viewing areas. My duties began pre-rally on Tuesday, where I met with committee members at the fairgrounds, assisted with various tasks, and gathered necessary supplies like banner tape and radios. On Wednesday, I joined volunteers to set up spectator areas. During the rally, I supported tasks on Thursday as needed. On both Friday and Saturday, I coordinated with crews at designated gathering points and managed safety at spectator locations.
